was happy to have the opportunity to spend the month of February as the artist-in-residence in Finland at the Nordic Art School/Drake Arts Centre. now back in Toronto- putting this collage back together (among other pieces) — finishing up this new work.
now don’t move. stay perfectly still and silent forever.
how i missed you gemma ward. one of the best models from 10? years ago…

As a Producer on this project – can’t wait for it to Premiere at TIFF 2014.
it always gets darker.
feeling like this.. except maybe more in a drowning way.
everything that was still left over. dead flowers now. empty bags. ripped up notes. dry coffee cup.
not including the alcohol, jewellery, money, crack pie.
leave an imprint of my face every week when my massage is over.
just skin (pale or medium tone) and eyes (black). all that’s there.
then i curse myself/or the makeup/or both.
thankfully none of the humor/privilege/bullshit/sadness is lost on me.
layering/shifting/bending over backwards- girls.
new large scale collages in the works. bigger than my body/ falling apart when they move,
putting them back together. again and again. (photos soon)
how come i never see hair this nice in real life..
my favourite photos from last week.
- excited to share that my work is featured as a 8 page spread+back cover for Canada’s newest fashion/art magazine–
